Editorial policy
United Kitchen Journal aims to make cooking and kitchen choices easier to understand. We value precise language, useful context and a clear distinction between established information, editorial judgment and preference.
Accuracy and sourcing
Writers should check factual statements against suitable sources and make claims no broader than the available support allows. We review articles for clarity and consistency before publication. When a subject calls for specific expertise or context we cannot establish, we narrow the discussion rather than imply certainty.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made separately from partnership arrangements. Any sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. A partnership does not guarantee favourable treatment or determine editorial conclusions.
Corrections
If you believe an article contains an error, contact us with the article title, the passage in question and any helpful context. We review correction requests and update material when warranted, making significant changes clear to readers.
Images and illustrations
Images are selected to support the subject and should not mislead readers about a recipe, ingredient or result. Some illustrations are AI-generated; where applicable, they are identified as illustrations rather than documentary photographs.
Cooking gets clearer when we share what we notice.
We believe kitchen confidence grows through understanding, not rigid rules. A little context can make each choice at the stove feel more deliberate.
