Write for us
United Kitchen Journal welcomes clear, thoughtful pitches about home cooking and kitchen craft. We are interested in useful explanations that help readers understand a choice, method, tool, ingredient or food tradition.
Ideas we welcome
Pitch a focused story about ingredients, techniques, kitchen tools, meal planning or food traditions. Strong proposals have a distinct question, a clear reader in mind and a subject that can be treated accurately without unsupported claims or professional advice.
What makes a good pitch
Tell us the working idea, the main point readers will take away, why it suits United Kitchen Journal and how you would approach it. Mention relevant experience honestly, and disclose any relevant commercial interest. A pitch is more useful when its angle is specific than when it promises to cover everything.
How to send a proposal
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include your name, a way to reply and a concise outline. Please do not submit a complete article unless we have asked for one; we will consider the proposal and respond if it fits our plans.
Cooking gets clearer when we share what we notice.
We believe kitchen confidence grows through understanding, not rigid rules. A little context can make each choice at the stove feel more deliberate.
